Local Attraction: Scarborough Town Centre
One local attraction is the Scarborough Town
Centre. The Scarborough Town centre is a shopping centre in Scarborough. It
opened on May 2, 1973 with 130 new stores. In 1985, it became part of the
Toronto Transit Commission. It currently has over 250 stores. This mall has
clothing stores, movies and music stores, books stores, and a huge food-court. It
includes something for everyone. For example, it has a Wal-Mart and a
Dollarama, which means people can buy stuff at a cheaper cost. It also has
Urban Planet and Forever 21 for people that want to buy more expensive
clothing. This mall also features a theatre and entertainment complex, so there
are a lot of fun things to do at this mall. The mall is located near the 401
highway, so people can have easy access to the place.
