Rob Porter is the chef from The Green Room Restaurant.
He was born and raised in Scarborough. Before he opened The Green Room Restaurant
in October 2006, he worked for Michelin restaurants. He has a team of
first-rate chefs that a lot of experience and are qualified to be chefs. His
team is friendly and knowledgeable about the food their working with. Porter
loves to attend Food Festivals. He's even entered in some of them. For example,
he's entered the Ryedale Food Festival, York Food Festival, Bridlington Food
Festival, and Scarborough's SeaFest. Recently, Porter has demonstrated his
cooking skills at The Malton Food Lovers Market. He made a Sea Bass dish with
parsnip Porridge and Mulled Wine foam. Today, his main goal is to promote chefs
and restaurants from Scarborough. The next big festival Porter has been invited
to is the Dales Food Festival, which will be held in May 2013.
